This is Byor, the little boy you see in the photo. He was born with a Deep and Severe Bilateral Cleft Lip and Palate (BCLP).
He had his first surgery at six months old, in Argentina, the country where he was born, for partial reconstruction of his lip. He was operated on by an excellent oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Alan Ponce. I am so grateful to him that I would like to mention his name as a medical reference.
At one year old, Byor underwent his second surgery. However, due to the extensive nature of his cleft, only a small part of his palate could be closed.
As a child grows, the skull, upper jaw, and lower jaw also develop, making further stages of reconstruction necessary.
Byor’s third surgery should have happended bout three years ago, but unfortunately, it has still not been possible to perform it.
His next surgery will involve final reconstruction of his lip, a bone graft, and closing as much of the upper palate as possible.
Unfortunately, some of the food Byor eats still passes through his nasal passages, causing significant discomfort, difficulty breathing while eating, and social discomfort. His speech is also significantly affected by the absence of a substantial part of his upper palate, which plays an important role in shaping sounds and speech.
In addition, his lip is still attached to his gum. Due to the extent of the cleft and the lack of bone structure, there was not enough support for complete reconstruction of his lip at that time. An initial structural procedure was performed so that he could eat, but Byor still has considerable difficulty speaking.
This is one of the many surgeries Byor will need throughout his life. In similar cases, an average of around 14 surgeries may be necessary.
I selected high-quality, natural and vegan supplements and vitamins for different health needs, including energy, tiredness, body aches, hormone balance, weight management, blood sugar support and libido. The products are carefully selected according to applicable quality and safety standards.

HOW CAN YOU HELP
As a single mother, I cannot cover all the costs of Byor’s treatment on my own. I chose this strategy because, even though the affiliate commission is small, converting it into Brazilian reais helps me build the funds needed for his treatment.
This way, you can purchase something for your health while also helping me take care of my son.
